Sundar C is one among the lead directors in the Tamil cine field. A complaint has been registered in the Police Commissioner office that he had defrauded an amount of Rs 46 lakhs. A petition has been filed by Velmurugan aged 47. He said that he was into the field of cinema for the last 27 years. Also, he said that he had penned the dialogues and directed four movies. Also, he had acted in more than 90 movies Also, he had worked in the Film Directors Federation of Tamil Nadu. He said that Sundar C was his close associate. The petitioner said that he knows director Sundar C for the last 15 years.
Currently, a television serial titled Nandhini is being telecast. I have penned the story for the serial. Sundar C got the story from me and promised to give an amount of Rs 50 lakhs. But, he gave me only Rs 4 lakhs. He is refusing to pay me the amount of Rs 46 lakhs. They are threatening me through gangsters The gangsters are intimidating me saying that the amount cannot be given. Sundar C has cheated many people. I have the documents which prove that he has cheated many people. Legal action should be taken against Sundar C. I fear that there is threat from him. I request for protection, said the petitioner.
