Former Sri Lankan Cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan donates $10,000 to Chennai Rain Relief. The USD amount 10,000 is equal to Rs. 6.5 Lakhs. Murali’s wife Malar is a Chennaite, and she is a physician. Thousands of people become homeless, and many people are starving for food. Though the rain has stopped, there is no electricity in many areas, and the water log does exist still. Chennai was hit with the heavy rain in early 1900’s, which left many people homeless and, of course, took away the lives of many. Still, the people are warned about the rain and the floods. Chennai is getting the aid from the neighboring states, which have lots of caring hearts.
