Recently, Gautami attended an awareness camp on breast cancer. She said that women are not aware of the breast cancer. Both the literate and illiterate women show no interest in their health, said Gautami. While speaking to the reporters, Gautami said that an awareness program should be held and the women should be educated about cancer. She also said that the farmers are being sidelined by the ruling party of TN. She sarcastically commented that she need not explain about the management by ruling party and the people know about them
