But, the actor says that honor for an actor is not in the awards but in the roles he gets. Shaam’s performance in 6 Meluguvarthigal was excellent. Similarly, he played extremely well in “Porampokku” directed by “S P Jananathan.” At present, Shaam is working in “party’ directed by Venkat Prabhu. Amma Creations ‘T Siva’ produces the film. Actor “Shiva” is the one who suggested Shaam for the role in Party. Shaam’s role is a negative shaded one. Shaam plays all the roles including the villain. Playing in varieties of roles will make an actor get appreciation and take him close to the public and that is what Sham is doing now. His latest film “Kaaviyan,” a movie about car race had been shot in the US. The film is in the post production stage and will be released soon, says Shaam.
