To protect the data in the computer from Ransomware the experts have formulated some ideas. The Ransomware has affected more than 100 countries and India is one among them. This attack has been made using America’s NSA tools. Besides India, Russia, Spain and England are also affected. The people, who are involved in this attack, are not yet found. England’s Malware Tech had found out some steps to safeguard the computers. At the same time, they have predicted that yet another internet attack is possible. The attack might happen today, inform the research scholars from Malware Tech.
Here are some ideas to protect the computer from virus attack:
If the operating system of the computer is an old one, then update it to the latest version
Microsoft has created a link to safeguard the old operating systems like Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Download it and install it
Update the antivirus software in the computer
Activate the firewall. Check the firewall setting that controls the virus attack
Microsoft has requested to stop uploading the data to the server, temporarily
Backup the data in the computer
Don’t open the email from the anonymous people. Stay away from the e-ads
Before switching on the computer follow this:
Switch off the servers and networks
Switch off the Wi-fi, LAN and Router
Switch off the smart TV, Tablet and mobile that are synched with the computer
Don’t switch on Bluetooth and Hotspot in computers and mobile phones
