Edappadi Palanisamy has become the 13th CM of Tamilnadu on 16th February 2017. The governor of Tamilnadu asked him to prove his majority within 15 days. But, EPS team has announced that they would undergo the floor test and prove their majority by Saturday at 11 Am at the assembly. To prove his majority, he would request the MLAs to vote for him. Dhanapal, the speaker, will announce the floor test and will ask the MLAs to vote. The speaker will conduct the poll in three phases; supporters, opponents and Neutralists. In the six blocks of the assembly, the MLAs' count will be noted. The MLAs, who support Palanisamy will be asked to stand up and the count will be noted and the people who oppose him will stand up and the count will be calculated and the same will happen for the neutralists too. If the supporters’ number is 118, Edappadi will continue as the CM.
