People, who were just seeing “Nayantara” as a talented actress, started seeing her as the role model collector, through Aramm. Nayan’s performance and Gopi’s script and execution made the people know about the societal issues. Gopi Nainar, who had been trying hard to enter into the cinema industry for the past three decades, got the lucky chance through Nayantara. In his recent interview, he said that he designed the lead role as a collector and not decided whether it is a male or female. He also said that there is no rule that only a mass hero should promote some social message; a heroine should also do it. Gopi also stated that he didn’t choose Nayantara for his film, but it is the lady superstar, who picked him to direct her.
