Talking about the film in her latest interview, Madonna says, "I have to exaggerate a bit in Tamil, unlike in Malayalam films, and Vijay Sethupathi helped me to emote it. Kaadhalum Kadandhu Pogum is a cheerful film that deals with Friendship and love; We have shot the film up to 50 days in Chennai. I had done larger than what I did for Premam".
This film produced by Thirukumaran Entertainment started shooting in April this year.
