.” Radhika said that the cinema industry has a male chauvinistic setup. In her latest interview to an online portal, she said, "I tried to do a few films in the South for whatever reason, and then I decided I won't do them anymore. Then I got a Rajinikanth film. It's an experience of a lifetime. It's the first time I acted in a South Indian film where I was treated as an equal by an actor. I sometimes think that it would have made more sense not to do anything than to work in films that are not great. Because you learn to do bad work, you learn to do it easy. In the few films I did, and I would be told 'Maa, sad feeling' and I would look sad. Then they would say 'Maa, shock.' And they would put the camera on your face, to capture your reactions. There would be nothing happening in front of me. I began to realize that it was a piece of cake. They were calling me a one-take actress. It doesn't challenge you and you get bored. You learn the easy way out and get used to it."
