“Ilayaraja,” the Maestro denied getting the National Award for the best Background score, as he felt that it is not fair to divide music awards into two. “M Jayachandran” received the National Award for Best song for the film, “Ennu Ninte Moideen” and Ilayaraja for “Tharai Thappattai.” Now, the legend has started working for Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan starrer, “Sabaash Naidu.” He has composed and recorded a song with Ramya NSK and Vishal Dhadlani. After Ilayaraja completes the songs, Kamal will leave to the US for shooting.
