However, the Supreme Court favored Karnataka by reducing Tamilnadu’s Cauvery water share and now the state will receive just 177.25 TMC from Cauvery. Now, Karnataka will get an extra share of 14.75 TMC. This verdict shocked the Tamilnadu farmers. Now, the actor turned politician Kamal says that he is entirely disappointed on the verdict by the Top Court. But, he welcomes the announcement that none has the right to claim Cauvery’s ownership.
