” has been receiving privileges in prison, has been transferred to Transport and Road Safety Department. Roopa alleged that her seniors were bribed to provide hi-tech facilities to Sasikala. Roopa submitted the report to the DIG (Prisons), H.N. Sathyanarayana Rao, the Secretary and also the Anti-Corruption Bureau. She also informed that she was not permitted to open about this. It is also informed that unlike other prisoners, Sasikala was allowed to have a lot of guests. Although Roopa provided the evidence, the senior authorities say that her allegations are baseless. It is said that Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah ordered an inquiry in this regard but had warned Roopa for disclosing the details publicly. Following her public interview about the perks given to Sasikala, Roopa is transferred to the Transport and Road Safety Department.
