After being appointed as the Governor of Pondicherry, her activities didn’t go well with the politicians and the people. Her interference in the governance of the state irritated the ruling party. Although she knows that everyone opposes her, she has been doing her duty, as per the order. At present, the GUV of Pondicherry had earned more aversion, following her denial to file the contempt of court against the Central Government. The Pondicherry Government wanted to file the contempt of court in the Cauvery issue. As Pondicherry is the Union territory, to file the case, the GUV’s consent is important. As she denied, the politicians and the people are angry at her.
