, the director, actress cum TV host had been receiving criticisms, positively and negatively. Although her TV reality show, Solvadhellam Unmai has attracted a lot of controversies, Lakshmy says that it has given a rebirth to a family. A husband and wife came to her show, taking their issues. The man lost his vision after their marriage and lost his job too. This created a lot of trouble with their family. When both of them decided to separate, they heard about the show and Lakshmy. Then, they visited the Zee Channel and participated in the show. On seeing this program on TV, a hotel owner offered a job to the visually challenged person and the family is united now and leading a happy life, says Lakshmi.
