Now, the advocate of the Ashram school released a press note. It states: On behalf of The Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we would like to give you the following information. We have been running our school in the premises of Guindy for more than a decade now. We have faced a lot of harassment in the recent past due to the family disputes of our landlord. It is not just about the rent but it is about their exploitation of situation and it is about asking for unfair, unreasonable and exorbitant increment in the rentals for which we had been negotiating and speaking with them. We have already discussed and decided with him to vacate the premises and negotiations are going on to settle the matters. In the meanwhile, using the media, the landlord has been harassing us continuously when a civil dispute is pending in the court. Since the matter is sub judice, we would like to record this statement. Taking the law into his hands and without any information, once again, the landlord has created immense agony to the school, children, parents and the management today.
