came to know about the difficulty of Sreenivasan and Gayathri, who are from Mandaveli, Chennai. The journalist Amalan told Lawrence about the pair and the actor called them and adopted the children. Lawrence assured that he would look after the education and future of the kids. The kids are very lucky to grow in the hands of Lawrence, who is a social activist, besides his cinema profession.
