, the actor, director cum choreographer had been participating in the protest with the people in Marina, Chennai to host Jallikattu permanently. He didn’t join the actors’ protest at the Nadigar Sangam but stayed with the people. Lawrence helped the public at Marina by arranging for food, mobile chargers and mobile toilets. The actor was advised to take rest for a week, as he had neck pain. But, he had been protesting with the youngsters and the students. Yesterday, he developed tremendous pain in his neck. The reason is that he had cervical disc strain. At present, he has been given physiotherapy and the doctors strongly advised him not to strain further. So, he would take rest for a week.
