We had reported you earlier that the sequel for Dhanush's Commercial – Masala drama 'Maari' is on the card; later it was confirmed by the star during his last interaction session with fans.
Now the exciting news is Director Balaji Mohan has started penning the script. The director also said that this new project will retain only Dhanush and rest will be fresh including the female lead.
Anirudh, who provided enough buzz for Maari with the music, is expected to join this project. Shooting will kick start only when Dhanush completes his current commitments with Director Durai Senthil Kumar and Vetrimaaran.
