,” has been caught in an encroachment case. A case has been filed against him in Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. Madhavan has procured 4.8 acres of land in Kodaikanal from Rajammal. Now, he is said to have encroached a canal which passes through his land. It is the only irrigation source for the area, says the person who made the complaint. It is also heard that when anyone complains about this in Dindigul district, they have been receiving life threats from the people, who support Madhavan. Ganesan, who filed the complaint, requests the court to clear the encroachment and fix electric poles in that area. On hearing the petition, the judges Sasidharan and Gokuldas have ordered to issue notices regarding this issue to Dindigul Collector, TNEB engineer and Tahsildhar. The case will face the next hearing on 11th July.
