, the senior actor cum director, requests the FEFSI employees to quit the strike and return to work. Due to some misunderstanding between the Producers Council and the FEFSI, the strike is announced and is going on. Mansoor states, “The decision taken at the Producer Council is not the decision by Vishal and it is announced after discussing with the executive team. Giving a huge remuneration for the workers is not a matter at all for biggie producers like Vishal. But, not all the producers in the council are the biggies. Small budget producers are also there on the Producers Council. Many producers in the council had lost everything for the film making. Cinema is not a single man army and it depends on many people. For somebody’s mistake, 25, 000 employees should not be affected.” Mansoor also stated that already the cinema industry is affected due to GST and other taxes. The state is affected by drought and many other issues. So, the employees should quit the strike, says Mansoor.
