One of the recently banned movies is Naren’s “Kathukutti”. This movie is directed by the newcomer R. Saravanan. The movie was banned by the Madras High Court, stating that the producer has violated the deal. Then, a partial amount, which was accepted by the party, was settled. Now, the ban is relaxed and the movie is ready for its release in October 9th. 

Though the director feels happy now, he is little bit unsatisfied. “If the movie was released on October 1st, as per the schedule, it would have got better response”, says the director. He thanks all the people, including the politician Vaiko and the directors Bharathiraja and Sasikumar for supporting him. Saravanan is satisfied in one aspect that, he could get more theatres to release his film.
