Slowly Jallikattu has brought the youngsters and students together and made them stand in the middle of the road to fight for their rights. A lot of film fraternities vested their support to Jallikattu. “Nayantara,” the Superstar of the South is a Malayali by birth. She supports Jallikattu and issues a statement requesting to lift the ban on Jallikattu. The actress says that although she is not a Tamil by birth, she has been made popular by the Tamil audiences. She feels that she is a Tamil and is proud to say that she belongs to Tamilnadu. Nayan says that she stands along with the youngsters and support them and says that this great protest proves our power to the foreign organization that is the main reason for the banning of Jallikattu.
