Last year, S Anitha from Ariyalur committed suicide after she failed to clear the NEET exam. The girl got 1175 marks in her Board exams. If NEET is not followed, she would have got a medical seat. Now, S Prathiba from Peruvallur village committed suicide by consuming the rat poison. It is said that Prathiba got cleared the NEET last year and was qualified to do Siddha. But, Prathiba didn’t go for Siddha and longed to get the MBBS seat. So, she wrote the NEET exam again. Her parents consoled her, as she didn't qualify. But, she took rat poison when none is at home. After seeing her in a critical condition, they took her to the hospital and the doctors declared that she was dead before reaching the hospital. “
