The Farmers’ protest in Delhi has been gaining a lot of support, day by day. The farmers request the Central Government to waive off the loans, set up a Cauvery tribunal and to provide a relief fund. But, neither the Cabinet Ministers nor the Prime Minister visited them. Even the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu didn’t visit them but stated that he had sent a crew to discuss with the farmers and inform it to the Central Ministers. Many students and the youngsters started protesting in Tamilnadu and showed their concern for the farmers, the backbone of India. But, the people who protested in Madurai and Trichy were arrested. The latest news on the protest is that the Coimbatore people started protesting and show their support to the farmers.
The Sun TV owners Kalanidhi Maran and Dhayanidhi Maran are accused in the BSNL telephone exchange scam. Today, the case has come to the CBI court and the Maran brothers appeared before the court.
