TN farmers are protesting for the past 29 days in Delhi. Their request to the PM is to waive off the loans, to provide a relief fund for the drought and to set up a Cauvery tribunal. Yesterday, the farmers protested in front of the PM office. They were arrested and later released. A cop, who took them to PMO had been suspended.
Although the farmers protest under the scorching sun, no government officials have the courtesy to visit them. TN CM "Edappadi K. Palaniswami" didn't speak to the farmers and had never taken steps to solve the issues, complaints the opposition parties.

," the Mahila Congress leader, visited the farmers and vested her support to them.
The crater formed near the Gemini Flyover has been repaired and the traffic is cleared. Lightweight and heavyweight vehicles are allowed on the route, now.
