The Southern India Cinematographers Association Election is fast approaching on November 8th, 2015. The election will be held for 19 posts. For the President position of the Union, the veteran cinematographer P. C. Sreeram contests against Kanniappan. The cinematographers Union has 1298 members, and it is to be noted that the election of the Southern India Cinematographers Association is going to be held after 9 years. According to a survey conducted by the Association, 913 members are eligible to vote. The election will be held for the posts, including that of the President, General Secretary, Treasurer and the committee members. The election will be held on 8th November at the Music Directors Association, near Kamala Theatre. The election time is 8 Am to 5 Pm. The result of the polls will be announced immediately, on that evening. Hope this election will not be so hot as the Nadigar Sangam elections.
