The dengue fever is rapidly spreading across Tamil Nadu. There are no direct medications to the disease. Those who are infected with the fever suffer from decreased number of blood platelets. Thus, the immunity to disease is reduced. So as to increase the immunity to disease, Nilavembu drinking water is used as a medication.
