The former Tamilnadu DGP George met the press today and gave a few explanations regarding the Gutkha case. George stated that he took in charge after 9th September 2016. Even before his tenure, the Gutka case had been going on, said George. He inquired about this to Vimala, Intelligence DC. George also stated that for the past 33 years, he had been in the service and he had never complained about anyone. He also stated that the DMK petition regarding Gutkha case didn’t have his name on it. As the case has been in the court, George said that he doesn’t want to speak about the issues, he faces. He also stated that the honest people have no security. George stated that many senior police officials are supposed to have been bribed, so he had requested the government to inquire about this, after joining the duty. He had also complained a lot about DGP Rajendran. Meanwhile, the Tamilnadu assembly meeting will be held the day after tomorrow and the Gutkha issue might be discussed by the “

” government. Possibilities are there to discuss Perarivaalan and the seven others’ release.
