.' There was prevalent confusion as to which movie would be released first. At last, Dhanush made an official announcement regarding the release date of Kaala. Following that, the release schedules are in progress. The teaser of the movie has been released and it has accomplished much. In a negative development, due to the digital issue the producer council has halted the release of the movies from 1st of this month. Further, movie shootings have been cancelled from 16th of the month.
Following trail, theater proprietors are on strike protesting against the entertainment tax. Due to this, the release of the movies have been stalled. If the strike continues, the release of Kaala will also be postponed. In a development, Lyca company has released a statement. We have not spoken regarding the release date of the movie to anyone. We are not responsible for the news spreading across the net.
