There have been innumerous issues surrounding the movie Mersal. Mersal is movie starring Vijay and it triggered controversies The scenes regarding the GST have been condemned by the BJP leader Thamizhisai Soundarrajan. The movie Mersal has crossed a number of hurdles and the movie hit the screens on Diwali. Vijay has pinpointed a number of issues including those in the field of medicine. Also, there is criticism in the movie regarding GST and Digital India. The Tamil Nadu BJP Head has condemned the mention in the movie. In a latest development, the Nilavembu drinking water is being distributed in Chennai.
After distribution of the drinking water, Thamizhisai Soundarrajan spoke to reporers. The leader said that there are some offensive scenes in the movie that include the GST and Digital India. If the scenes are not removed, case would be filed in the court. Vijay is spreading wrong messages so that he can enter politics, said the leader. It is to be noted that there have been number of issues to the movie very since its announcement. Now, even after release of the movie, the movie is facing hassle from politicians.
