Punjab’s Public School Education Directorate has brought new rules and regulations for the female teachers. The Director of Higher Secondary Education, Amarbeer Singh sent a circular to the Government schools. In the circular, it was stated that the government schools' female teachers should not wear Jeans and Tops while they come to the schools. They should wear the ethnic Punjab dresses and be the precedent to the students. But, the circular has no details regarding the dress code for the male teachers. Many people in Punjab have welcomed this move stating that the ethnic values of the state will be preserved only if the people follow them. What is your idea about this dress code?
