Director Ram Gopal Varma didn't have many releases in Kollywood except Ratha Sarithiram, more than a decade. But he is still a known face to the fans here due to his controversial activities.
The Ice cream filmmaker in his social media space expressed the anger over the actors those who donated few lakhs for Rainwater logging at Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. He tweeted "Ayyababool superstar lu ten lakshalu 5 lakshalu bucganisthe antha dabbu em chesulovalo theliyaka chennaiprajalu morachapotharu. Ivvakapivadam bit". He directly attacks Rajinikanth and Dhanush those who gave Rs 10 Lakhs and Rs 5 Lakhs to the people who'd made them superstars.
He further added that those so called superstars only offer prayers with a scant amount given for flood relief. RGV also made fun of Rajinikanth saying, "I wonder why Rajinikanth didn't take any steps to stop the rain".
