Tamilnadu government announces that it had paid the compensation of Rs. 10 lakh to the people, who died while cleaning the underground drainage and the tank. While cleaning the tank and the underground sewage, 141 people lost their lives, informed the TN government in the Madras High Court. It also informed that a compensation of Rs. 10 Lakh had been paid to each of the families. The government also informs that it has been tracing the details of 13 more people, who fall as the victim while cleaning the sewage. We hope all the families of those victims will be compensated. It is high time for the state to take necessary measures to avoid such deaths.
