“Sangamithra,” the dream project of “Sundar. C” was launched at the Cannes International Film Festival. The film was planned with a budget of Rs. 300 Crores. As it is a whopping budget, the makers decided to launch the film at Cannes and attract the foreign investors. As their expectation was shattered, they decided to drop the film, says a source. Some sources say that Shruti quit the film and some other say that the makers expelled her. It would come to the limelight, after the announcement by the makers.
