A lot of complaints were flowing regarding the snacks items sold in the theaters. Following this, the Tamilnadu Labour Department warned the movie theaters not to sell the food items at higher prices. It is said that for the past 2 days nearly 335 theatres have been reviewed and in the review, nearly 72 theatres had charged the audiences at a high price on snacks and 114 cases have been filed, as there are no expiry dates mentioned in the food packs. The audiences could file a complaint regarding the prices and other issues regarding the expiry date of the snacks sold in theatres via mobile app TN-LMCTS.
