Yesterday, after watching the Chennai Super Kings match, Shankar tweeted, “CSK – Avengers… full of heroes… what a match!” When the entire state has been mourning for the death of the souls, who were killed in the Thoothukudi Gunfire, during the Sterlite Protest, Shankar’s tweet on CSK’s victory seems to be a senseless one. Following the criticisms, Shankar removed the tweet. Today morning, he tweeted, “It is shocking and painful.. my deepest heart felt condolences to the families of the people who died in tuticorin.” This tweets irritated the people very much and many started giving counter tweets for Shankar stating that the incident happened yesterday, while he was enjoying the IPL Match.
