Right from the Marina protest for Jallikattu, there are lots of protests started in Tamilnadu. Neduvasal protest followed Marina, to drop the project for extracting hydrocarbon. The recent one is by the Tamil farmers protesting with basic demands in Delhi and the latest protest is by the Tanjore farmers to get back their rights in Cauvery. The farmers started their indefinite protest in the Tanjore Collector Office and requesting the government to set up Cauvery Management Board. This protest has been getting the support from the youngsters. Farmers, the backbone of the country are suffering much. They couldn’t carry on agriculture without water and the Karnataka government denies giving the share of Tamilnadu, even though the Supreme Court orders. What next? Will the Karnataka government at least give the water share of Tamilnadu, even after seeing the difficulties by the farmers?
