Tamilnadu Government has complained the Isha Yoga Foundation for erecting the buildings without proper permission. The government replied to the petition filed in the Madras High Court against the buildings in Isha Yoga Foundation. The TN government also states that to erect the building in the Isha center, the approval had been made contrary to the terms laid by the government. It also stated that as the officers didn’t charge the Isha Yoga Foundation for the structures being erected without approval, it created a significant loss to the government. It is also reported that unapproved buildings are being erected in 109 acres of land. The government also stated that the Coimbatore Collector approved to construct buildings in the agricultural area of 19.45 hectares in November 2016, after considering the religious worship. The government has also asked the Isha Foundation to submit documents regarding the Statue of Adi Yogi, Shiva. The case has been filed by the President of the Tribes Association.
