Actress Muktha made her debut with Vishal's 'Thamirabarani' directed by Hari. Since then, she acted in few films but nothing was favorable in her career. Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, the last film before her marriage was noticed.
Now Muktha is all set for her 2nd innings as an actress; she is playing the female lead in Kadhalil Vizhunthen director, PV. Prasad's upcoming venture titled 'Sagunthalavin Kadhalan' who is also playing the protagonist.
Muktha is playing Sagunthala, a nurse from a rural area who wants to fly to abroad for work and the film deals with the problems that the character underwent when she shifted to Chennai. She will be seen in very traditional look, and director requested her not to add glam as it shed Sakunthala's identity. In her latest interview, Muktha said that nothing has changed in her life post marriage.
Her husband Rinku Tomy also wanted her to continue with her career, she revealed.
