He has invited the people to join the protest against the Hydrocarbon extraction project and thrash the plans by the central government to destroy the farm lands in Tamilnadu. Thangar says that the Jallikattu protest proved the unity and projected the identity of Tamils to the world. So, the protest started in Neduvasal should spread throughout Tamilnadu and the plans of the central government should be countered, says Thangar. He also says that Tamilnadu is the only state that is being affected by all the actions taken by the central government. The livelihood of the people is being destroyed by the parties and the representatives chosen by the public. The National parties, Congress and BJP are planning against Tamilnadu and are not even lending the ears to the voice of the Tamils and we are being cheated by those governments, says Thangar.
