Jallikattu, the tradition of Tamilnadu and pride of the nation to find the fertile cows has been banned by Supreme Court as a case had been filed by PETA India, an American Organization in India. The youngsters and the students including the girls have jumped into the ring to protest in an Ahimsa way as Mahatma Gandhi protested against the British. The cinema industry has vested its support to the students. Already Nadigar Sangam and the Director’s Association announced the shutdown today and the silent rally on 20th January 2017. The cinema halls will be closed from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and show their protest to conduct Jallikattu.
