The Madras High Court announced that wearing the helmet while driving the two-wheeler is a must and similarly, wearing the seat belt while driving a car is a must and these rules should be made compulsory and the Tamilnadu Police Department should take care of this. The court also suggested the black stickers on the headlights in the vehicles. The Court ordered that the Tamilnadu government should submit a report regarding this before 27th July and also should stop the vehicles operating with high beam.

, the Karnataka CM said that the Karnataka government has decided to build one ore dam across Cauvery in Megathathu, after getting the consent of the central government. Already the water problem between Tamilnadu and Karnataka is not yet solved and this dam issue will make the existing problem bigger, say the experts.
