Shalini is a journalist in a private channel. Angayarkarasi is Shalini’s colleague. Shalini went to Pallapatti in Dindigul district to meet Angayarkarasi, who was in her native, now. Along with Shalini, her colleagues Ramkumar, Sathish, Gokul and Prabhuraj went to meet Angayarkarasi. They were returning from Pallapatti and when they were nearing Pottikulam, the vehicle lost the control and rolled down in a crater. In this accident, Shalini, who was injured heavily, died. Others are admitted to the hospital and getting treatment. It is to be noted that Shalini celebrated her birthday, yesterday. When she was asked to blow the candle, she didn’t blow it and let it glow. “Edappadi K Palanisawami,” the Tamilnadu CM announced Rs. 3 lakh as compensation to Shalini’s family. EPS shared his condolences for Shalini’s death!
