To have a mom look, she put up her weight. Her character name is Sulochana alias Sulu and hence the title Tumhari Sulu. Vidya says that she is grateful to the makers for offering challenging characters like this. Vidya plays an ordinary middle-class woman and says that she is still a middle-class woman at heart and states that she is proud of it.
