As a matter of fact, people are eagerly anticipating the release of Rajamouli’s directorial venture Baahubali The Conclusion to find out why Kattappa. The movie is to be released on April 28th, 2017. Meanwhile, reports are abuzz that the secrets of Kattappa and Sivagami will be divulged on the small screen. Rajamouli said that there would be a small TV series on The Rise of Sivagami.
He added that he is planning to make a mini TV series which is based on three books, but it is not the usual serial that we see on the screens. The crew is planning to make seasonal series with 13 episodes.

wrote the first book which shares the story of Sivagami, mother of Baahubali, who grows up as the queen of Mahismathi and introduces the character Kattappa. He shared the secret by saying that the book is also about Kattappa. He said he tried to understand his emotions and why he became the person he is now.
