Rajamouli is a noted director in the Telugu cine field. He directed the movie Baahubali. The prequel was re-released this Friday in as much as 1000 screens across India. Predicting by the initial advance bookings, the experts in the trade predicted that the movie would do reasonably well in the box-office. But, after the first weekend of theatrical run, the re-release has proven to be an utter flop.
As per the reports, the re-released movie could not collect even Rs 2 crore, which is embarrassing for a movie that has hit the screens in 1000 theaters. Rajamouli is said to be embarrassed with the collections that the movie has made. The movie collected Rs 600 crore when it was initially released in 2015.
