today and received his wishes. Sindhu, the ace Indian Shuttler beat the world no 4 shuttler, Nozomi Okuhara in just 36 minutes in the straight sets. Sindhu’s gold added a feather on the cap of India. With this BWF World Championship title, Sindhu had won all the championship titles. She is the fourth shuttler to receive this honor. By receiving the championship title, Sindhu brought back the pride to India after forty years.
For the past 4 decades, no Indian woman shuttler grabbed the BWF World Championship title. Way to go, Sindhu! Congrats! A lot of celebrities wished Sindhu on her victory. Sindhu told that she went emotional when she heard the National Anthem playing and the National Flag flying, while she received the medal.
