Plot: Charlie Bronson (Dax Shepard) lives in Milton, California under the supervision of Randy Anderson (Tom Arnold). Annie Bean ( Kristen Bell Her full name is Kristen Anna Bell, an American ac >> Read More... ) is a professor at Milton Valley College and is asked to attend an interview on 'Conflict Resolution' program in Los Angeles, failing which she would lose her job at the college. Charlie decides to accompany Annie to Los Angeles. Annie remembers that some documents were at his ex-boyfriend's place.

Gil Rathbinn (Michael Rosenbaum) feels suspicious about Charlie and asks his brother police officer to follow them. He also researches about Charlie and finds out that Charlie was a getaway driver and was involved in an unsuccessful bank robbery. Gil contacts Charlie's partner Alexander Dmitri ( Bradley Cooper Born as Bradley Charles Cooper on 5th January 1975 >> Read More... ) and informs him about Charlie. Alex gathers his other partners and reaches the location to teach him a lesson. The story takes many twists as it continues to unravel the truth about Charlie's past to Annie.

Analysis: The movie is a treat to action lovers. Dax Shepard has done an amazing job multi-tasking in the movie. The director duo has fast but firm. Bradley Stonesifer has cinematographed the movie perfectly. The movie has a strong star cast, and the background score pitches every corner of the theater. The car chasing sequences are very catchy and amaze the audience long after you watch the movie.

Star performances: Dax Shepard has left the audience speechless with the level of work he has done in the movie. Direction, production, lead actor, editor and the list goes on, but Dax stands firm in all the aspects. Bradley Cooper needs no introduction, and he fits in the role of villain in the movie. Kristen Bell, however, does seem a little off-balance and fails to support the crew. Editing has been very tight, and Keith Croket along with Dax Shepard has left no loopholes while editing it.

What's there?

1) The movie comes with a powerful star cast and their performances will leave the audience in Aww!

2) The movie has some power packed action and great chasing sequences which thrill the audience with every shot.

What's not there?

Music by Robert Mervak and Julian Wass fails terribly and will disappoint the audience.

Verdict: Hit and Run is a feast to be watched and must be watched at least once.
