Plot
‘Message from the king’ is a Drama-Mystery film written by Stephen Cornwell and directed by Fabrice Du Welz. The music composition is by Vincent Cahay and Felix Penny. The story is about an unknown person who tries to get justice for a girl whom he says is his younger sister. The movie unfolds the story about a person named Jacob. He works in South Korea. He had a young sister living in Los Angeles and was regularly in contact with her. However, he was unable to reach out to her and decides to leave for Los Angeles to find out about her sister.
He is shocked after knowing about the death of her sister and then gets into the search to find out the truth. Looking for the evidence, he finds out many drawbacks about the city of Angles which is all about sex, drugs, and secrets. He decides to avenge her death. The movie “Message from the king” is about how the brother goes through all the troubles to get to the truth and what happens in those seven days of his search is the entire mystery.
Star Performance
The cast has done a remarkable job in their roles. Tom again outshined its role becoming the star performer of the movie.
Analysis
Fabrice has been a renowned director who has always done a remarkable job on screen and ‘Message from the King’ is amongst those.
What’s there?
1. Cast has given a solid performance. We get to see many prevailing faces like Tom Felton whose work is worth appreciating.
What’s not there?
1. Although the storyline was satisfactory, there were some more aspects related to the film that was left out.
Verdict
This is a drama which depicts the immense love of a brother for her younger sister. The bond shared between them is worth to watch.
