Analysis
Needless to say, the story is a drag and makes no sense as the two-hour film finally comes to an end. The spark of Christmas is lost as the characters don’t get the difference between excitement and stupidity.
The intention of being a kid’s movie gets lost as the entire storyline get revolved between idiotic adults. The writer/director Debbie Isitt lost her flair for a fun-family entertainer that she had for the first two movies.
Though there are some sparkling moments in bits and pieces of the movie, the entire story has no logic, and a few can go to sleep before the movie is, at least, half done.
What’s there:
1. A boring 2-hour long movie
2. Sudden bursts of melodious songs for no apparent reason
3. Sad narratives
What’s not there:
1. Christmas magic 2. A fun-filled family movie
Verdict:
Put a full stop at Nativity 2. Unless you have a lot of time and patience, stay far far away from the movie.
